The unit has electrical requirements of 208/230v, 1-phase, 25A recommended breaker, 22.1 MCA. I'm doing 10/3 for wire gauge, but I'm a little troubled on the 25A side. I can find a 25 or 30a breaker, but for the outside disconnect box they all seem to be 30A. What's the right way to handle this? Do I even care with just a 5A difference, especially sin...
I had an Ecobee Lite thermostat installed with my new HVAC system: a single stage heat pump, auxiliary back up heat, single stage air conditioner. I have been having issues with the heat pump. On very cold nights, 23 degrees or below, it is not maintaining the set temp of 68 degrees. When it's that cold outside, the temp never gets above 66.
